About me:

My name is Milan Driece. I am an enthusiastic, hardworking guy, and I always try my very best. I work at Domino's and CLS. I study game development at Grafisch Lyceum Utrecht. In my free time, I mostly play video games like The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom and a lot of first-person shooters. I also enjoy hanging out with family and friends.

I have worked with Unity C# for 3 years. I also have experience with Unreal Engine and Unreal Blueprints for about 6 months. I know how to use GitHub to save and collaborate on projects. Additionally, I'm good at editing videos, and I've made all the videos on my YouTube channel myself.

I understand the scrum method for managing projects well. I'm good at leading a team and enjoy working with others. I'm also good at recognizing the strengths of my teammates and making sure everyone is happy and having a good time on a project.

I'm quick to learn the basics of new things. For example, I learned Unity multiplayer in just a few weeks, and now I understand it well enough to teach others. I really enjoy helping others too.

Project Pages

Here, you can find all my projects and view the ones you like. They all have a short introduction that you can go through. Additionally, they include explanations of what I did and how I made them, along with code snippets and videos.

Starline

This is a 3D first-person puzzle game that I made in 8 weeks for school. I am really proud of how this turned out and we ended up winning the best project of our year!

Mancala

I made an ancient board game called Mancala in Unreal Engine to learn blueprints in one week. This project really showed me that everything I learned in Unity C# really does carry over to other programming languages.

Cybermania

With a team of five, we created an exciting online multiplayer racing game. Our efforts paid off, earning us a perfect 10 - the highest grade! Experience our journey and the final product!

Boulder Brawl

I developed a 2D fighting game for a school project, featuring earthbending combat mechanics and local multiplayer. I also made a technical design before making the game.

Christmas Fight

This is a first-person shooter that I made with 2 other friends, and it has a Christmas theme. I had a lot of fun making it, and I'm proud to say that we got a score of 8.7 on this project.

Malaga Journey

I was selected by my school to go to Malaga. They only choose two students from every class. While there we had to complete various tasks such as the Malaga game jam.

Chefline's: Journey (Work in Progress)

For my first internship I got to create a game with a group of friends. We made an adventure game in a world where everything is food! In this page you can see the journey about the creation.
